The AD-20 is a high quality battery operated microphone preamp coupled with a low noise 20 bit ADC. The SPDIF outputs are optical and coaxial and can drive standard consumer DAT machines or computers that accept digital audio I/O cards, such as the Zefiro ZA-2.  The main use for the AD-20 is location recording.  Most low cost DAT machines have noisy front ends and a good preamp with a higher bit converter can improve the signal to noise by up to 15dB.

The Dcode® PS-1A is a low noise, Phantom 48 volt microphone power supply. The PS-1A works with one 9 volt battery and has enough power to run high current microphones. The small size, light-weight, rugged construction and very low noise make the PS-1A a natural for powering microphones feeding DAT machines, radio mics, tape machines, and mixing panels. Long battery life and a bright LED low battery indicator ensure that the microphone is properly powered during  your  recording session.

The Dcode® TB-1 is a battery operated talk back system for microphone boom operators.  The TB-1 enables the mixer and two boom locations to maintain full duplex telephone style communication.  Also features a call light to signal all operators in the system.

NOTE: The TB-1 has been discontinued. Spare and replacement parts for the TB-1 will continue to be available, but new units are no longer in production.
